Messina Hof's "Angel" is a crisp, sweet dessert wine, harvested from the last pick of Riesling when the grapes are like raisins. Angel was named for its angelic sweetness and in honor of the angels that are carved in stone on the front wall of the Messina Hof winey in Bryan. Angel was the first Texas wine to make a 90 in the Wine Spectator and was ranked by USA Today as one of the top ten regional wines in the USA.
