Ebony, naturally fermented to 16% alcohol, is a solera blend of the last three vintages. Grown in our Estate Vineyard at Messina Hof Bryan with the Lenoir grape Ebony is a light port. It has less alcohol than other port style wines but retains the same flavors the Barrel Reserve Port.

Ebony, naturally fermented to 16% alcohol, is a solera blend of the last three vintages. Grown in our Estate Vineyard at Messina Hof Bryan with the Lenoir grape. The combination of three vintages, each with their own contributive strengths, enhances consistency on the palate. This lower-alcohol port-like dessert wine has wonderful chocolate covered cherry flavors.
