In the early 90's Paul and Merrill studied Burgundian wine making in Burgundy, France. We learned the techniques from the faculty of Dijon and the art from the winemakers themselves. Each day we tasted at a different winery and then dined at local restaurant tasting the wine with the local cuisine just for the wine.

Messina Hof's Private Reserve Pinot Noir is rich and elegant in a Burgundian style. Aged in European and American oak, this lovely Pinot Noir complements light meats, pasta and grilled seafood.

Our Pinot, made from grapes from our vineyard in Halfway, Texas, has an incredible intensity of color and rich flavors of fruit, especially cherry and blackberry.

It was a winner at the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition.

Serve at 65 degrees F.
