Our Pinot Grigio, the Italian version in the style of Sauvignon Blanc, is crisp, floral and clean. Our first Pinot Grigio was grown in the Hill Country. It was a catalytic change in what our women Aggies drank. Before our Pinot Grigio, the wine of choice was White Zinfandel. In 2000 Pinot Grigio became the queen of wine for female college students. This was a big change as they went from sweet to dry wine.
Our Pinot Grigio, the Italian version of Sauvignon Blanc, is crisp and clean. As such, this is a great warm weather wine.
It's wonderful floral and citrus aromas complement light cheeses, fish, poultry and lemony sauces.
