When Paul, Merrill and Paul M. were studying in Bordeaux, the group organized by Dr. George McEachern, dined with the owner of Chateau Angelus. During the evening we tasted blind 8 wines. Four were French and four were Texan.

Our Paulo Merlot is blended with our finest Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in our best French oak barrels for one year and aged in our best American oak barrels the second year.

Our Merlot Vineyard is 25 years old and consistently produces dark cherry flavors.

This fine wine has been awarded a silver medal and "Texas Champion" at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo International Wine Competition.
