Cabernet Franc is the grand daddy of all grapes. It existed before Cabernet Sauvignon and in fact is the father of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is usually used as a blender in Bordeaux style wines. We have made it since 1991. Back then, few had ever heard of it. They thought we misspelled Cabernet Sauvignon. We were so impressed by the earthy full bodied character of the wine made from this grape that we started making it as a varietal wine.

Our Barrel Reserve Cabernet Franc is a rich wine bursting with blackberries, vanilla and all-spice. Made in a classic Bordeaux style, this perfect blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot nicely complements grilled meats, game and spicy sauces.

It is a medal winner at the prestigious Indy International Wine Competition.
